The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting marketing, advertising and promotional activities while enhancing and growing the NYRA brand and its properties.
The duties of the Marketing Coordinator will include the following:
Work with the Marketing Manager on the digital transformation of the on-track and online fan engagement and experience through new applications (NYRA XP) designed to improve our guest experiences and their overall value to the organization
Implement an email communications strategy designed to maximize horseplayer and fan engagement
Support implementation of integrated Marketing plans inclusive of online and on-track promotions, ticket sales and ad trafficking
Work with creative services team to develop collateral materials for various promotional channels inclusive of print, radio, digital and TV
Support additional marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, implementing of special events and data analysis (Google analytics and other data sets) related to key business objectives
Develop campaign recap reports for various events and initiatives
Work cross-functionally to implement projects and initiatives from their inception to recap analysis
Manage special event signage circulation, production and installation
Other project work as required.
2-3 year’s work experience
Experience developing and implementing regional promotions and working with agencies
Experience with planning and executing customer communication campaigns using email, text and/or push messaging preferred.
Salesforce (Exacttarget) experience a plus
Ability to work at all three NYRA Tracks, Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course. Ability to relocate to Saratoga for approximately seven weeks in the summer (travel stipend provided).
Ability to work the racing schedule, including weekends and some holidays .
