Job Overview

Responsible for managing the marketing, advertising and promotion of the New York Racing Association’s ADW program, NYRA Bets. 


  • Manage, set-up, execute, analyze and report on paid media plans with ROI goals across all key media channels (Programmatic, Paid Social, Search, Display/Retargeting, Native, Mobile) to meet acquisition campaign objectives.
  • Negotiate ad buys, manage media approval process, manage monthly budgets and spending reconciliations.
  • Optimize campaign performance on a weekly basis after analyzing performance data.
  • Develop and execute strategic A/B testing framework for creative and landing page testing. Continually evaluate, research and test new opportunities
  • Proficient with Google Analytics with ability to develop and pull weekly reports; and identify activity trends.
  • Knowledge of ad tagging, ad trafficking, QA and troubleshooting issues internally and/or with external partners.
  • Understand media trends and discover first-to-market opportunities with "influencers".
  • Analyze performance of existing content to provide suggestions that drive SEO and grow organic revenue
  • In conjunction with the NYRA Bets Director of Marketing, develop and implement an integrated marketing plan for NYRA’s ADW platform, NYRA Bets.
  • Work with creative services team to develop collateral materials for various promotional channels inclusive of print, radio, digital and TV.
  • Develop promotions to deepen customer engagement and loyalty within the NYRA Bets platform inclusive of audience segmentation and seasonality to drive increased activations and handle. Then submit to the New York Gaming Commission for regulatory approval.
  • Leverage existing NYRA assets and recommend new incentives to players within our ADW platform.
  • Develop collateral materials, with the assistance of the creative services team, for various promotional channels inclusive of print, radio, digital and TV to support the loyalty program.
  • Assist in implementing social media and email communication campaigns to NYRA Bets members inclusive of scheduling, messaging and creative.
  • Identify latest promotional trends in the ADW space and apply them to NYRA’s ADW program as appropriate.
  • Collect and synthesize analytics from various campaigns and make recommendations to improve ROI.
  • Special projects at the direction of the President and the Board of Directors.


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience: 5-7 years of work experience
  • Other: Experience developing and implementing large scale promotions and managing agencies. Experience working in the thoroughbred horse racing industry preferred.
  • Ability to work a racing schedule, which can include weekends and some holidays.

This position requires working at all three NYRA tracks: Aqueduct Racetrack (Jamaica, NY), Belmont Park (Elmont, NY) and Saratoga Race Course (Saratoga Springs, NY)
