NYRA seeks to hire a Turf Course Technician.
The Racing Operations Associate deliver operational, strategic and tactical customer insights that help drive NYRA Bets’ business strategy; Develop weekly and monthly reports that provide a 360-degree view of the NYRA Bet customer; Help define the customer value and life-cycle, identify campaign triggers, perform customer segmentation and suggest improvements to ensure relevant customer data is captured and accessible for analysis and inclusion into strategies that increase customer loyalty and wagering activity. Provide operational support of the ADW and Content Management lines of business. Ensure accuracy and perform daily quality assurance on the ADW desktop and mobile/app.

The A/P Supervisor will assist the Accounts Payable Manager with various aspects of the accounts payable process. The A/P Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing an accounts payable team, direct processing of invoices and payments, monitoring the A/P mailboxes for vendor inquires, performing vendor statement reconciliations, and ad hoc projects as needed.
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for data management, system maintenance, auditing the integrity of the data, ensuring record retention, and being the gatekeeper for all HR employee system transactions, as well as entering accurate/consistent data in the HR systems with precise documentation that supports all changes to optimize NYRA’s record keeping practices. This role is also responsible for providing administrative support, as well as performing a wide range of clerical and office support activities for the HR Department to improve operational efficiency.
The Ticket Sales Representative’s main responsibilities include selling and suggesting all available ticket types to patrons entering or inside Saratoga Race Course using any applicable ticket software. Ticket types can include, but are not limited to admission, seating, dining, and premium hospitality. Additionally, the Ticket Sales Representative will identify and troubleshoot any ticketing problems that may arise, demonstrate a helpful understanding of general track information, and always deliver exceptional customer service.
Ticket Sales Representatives can be assigned to work covering one of the three following areas:
- Dining Sales
- Luxury Seating Sales
- Box Office / Will Call Booths
The Technology Interns will work for 8 weeks during the Saratoga Race Course 2023 season.
The Sr. HR Business Partner will provide strategic labor relations expertise while overseeing the administration and interpretation of 25 different union contracts. The Senior Accountant will monitor cash transactions to ensure that bank account balances agree to the GL and any unusual items are investigated. Analyze and prepare the necessary adjustments. Calculate and coordinate reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory, IRS, State and Foreign tax payments and returns. Working with external auditors to provide support for the income tax return.
The Outrider ensures safety of all people and horses on a race day and during training by enforcing track regulations and reporting any violations to their supervisor.
Reporting to the VP of Communications, the Manager, Community Affairs will identify, support and further develop relationships amongst key stakeholders within the community, government and the industry. The Manager would be responsible for maintaining a dialogue with those constituencies and identify issues that could affect how NYRA is perceived by those constituencies. This individual will develop, manage and execute plans for NYRA-sponsored events throughout the year, and represent NYRA at external events hosted by key stakeholders and constituencies.
NYRA Backstretch Peace Officers provide security for both Aqueduct Racetrack and Belmont Park and must be prepared to work at either location. All Full-Time NYRA Security positions offer union benefits and offer a starting pay rate of $22.00 per hour.
The Marketing Coordinator will support overall operations of the marketing department across digital, television, media, and on-track marketing activity. He/She will focus on developing engaging handicapping, racing, ticketing, and television content with fans through NYRA digital channels, with a primary focus on social media and web properties. This individual will be engaged with horse racing at NYRA tracks, nationally and internationally and preferred to be knowledgeable about horse racing and the online betting industry.
The Marketing Coordinator will work across NYRA and NYRA Bets social media channels to promote racing highlights, betting promotions, NYRA analysts’ picks, engaging moments from our TV programs (Saratoga Live and America’s Day at the Races) and ticket sales promotions for Saratoga Race Course, Belmont Park and Aqueduct Racetrack. He/She will be responsible for supporting website operations and coordinating real-time content on NYRA web properties including NYRA.com, BelmontStakes.com and NYRAinc.com for support across the organization.
Opportunities exist for individuals to work in general maintenance positions at the Saratoga Race Course from April to November 30.
The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external calls by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as being a team player within the department.

Under direction from NYRA Management, Fire Marshals work to prevent and suppress fires and perform Emergency Medical Technician emergency service work in the field. Fire Marshals are responsible for responding to emergency situations and assisting with controlling and resolving the situation. Fire Marshals work within the scope of established NYRA Fire Safety Rules, Regulations and Procedures, however, are expected to exercise considerable judgment and initiative in emergency situations. NYRA’s objective is to prevent and minimize injury and/or the loss of life and property in all emergencies and fire situations. Applicants must hold either a firefighter/EMT certified or EMT only
Please note the start date for this position is July 14, 2023 and the end date is September 4, 2023.
As a member of the 2023 Saratoga Race Course security staff, you will be responsible for preserving order within and around the Race Course grounds and for protecting both the property and the people within the grounds. These jobs will begin in July of this year.
The Gap Attendant remains present at the entrance of the racetrack and records names of every horse and trainer reporting for a workout. Records distance, the starting point and finishing points of the workout, and report this information to the appropriate Clocker.
